From Inquiry to Delivery Repair Process

When you first drop off your car, it's hard to know what happens and when. We have broken it down into seven steps to guide you in advance.

Leave an Estimate Inquiry

Before You Start

We explain each step in Korean

Restoring an accident vehicle is not just about dropping off the car. If you don't know when the estimate will be ready, who talks to the insurance company, or what the schedule is if parts are delayed, the waiting time feels much longer.

Depending on whether it is a self-pay repair or an insurance claim, step 3 can be skipped. The rest of the sequence is the same.

Things to Prepare

Bringing these items before your visit will make the initial inspection much faster. You can proceed without them, but having them allows us to complete the insurance filing and estimate at once.

Documents

If going through insurance, please provide the claim number and the name of the insurance company. For self-pay repairs, only the vehicle registration is needed.

Vehicle

Remove Personal Items in Advance

Leaving items in the car during the repair period can interfere with work and movement. Please check the trunk and back seat as well.

History

Inform Us of Previous Repair History

If the same area has been repaired before, it helps in determining paint matching and bodywork direction. Just telling us what you remember is sufficient.

If you are sending your car via tow truck, we will confirm its arrival for you.

Seven Steps

Each step begins after the previous one is completed. If the schedule changes in the middle, we will guide you accordingly.

Step 1

A close-up view of a damaged front fender corner

You can contact us via phone, email, or text—whichever is most convenient. Please let us know the car model, the accident situation, and the visible damage. If possible, sending a few photos of the vehicle helps us set a general direction before your visit. We will also determine if towing is necessary at this stage.

What we inform you of at this stage

  • Whether a visit or towing is required
  • Rough scope of work based on photos alone
  • Documents to bring for the first visit

Step 2

When you bring your car to the workshop, we inspect it for free. We don't just look at exterior damage; we also check inside the bumper, panel gaps, and the undercarriage. Based on the inspection results, we will organize the scope of work and estimated duration. We provide separate estimates for insurance submission and personal reference.

Items included in the inspection

  • Panel gaps and door operation status
  • Undercarriage and wheel alignment impact
  • Damage to glass and lighting

Step 3

Insurance Processing

Workshop office space for organizing insurance documents

If going through insurance, we need the claim number and the insurance company name. We will guide you through the process and required documents, and coordinate the schedule for the insurance adjuster. Since insurance coverage and deductibles are determined by insurance company policy, we do not make assumptions. If it is a self-pay repair, this step is skipped.

  • Insurance company name and claim number
  • Available time slots for adjuster visit

Insurance coverage and deductibles are decided by the insurance company. We handle the preparation of documents and scheduling.

Step 4

Parts shelf with replacement body panels and bumpers

Once the repair scope is determined, we check for necessary parts. We will inform you whether OEM, aftermarket, or used parts will be used. If parts procurement takes time, we will update you on the estimated schedule. Once the schedule is confirmed, we will inform you of the start date.

Costs and waiting periods vary depending on the type of parts. We will tell you which ones will be used and confirm your approval before ordering.

Parts Selection Criteria

  • Aftermarket — Alternative parts that meet specifications
  • Used — Reused parts with verified condition

We will inform you in advance which parts will be used and order them after receiving your consent.

Step 5

Bodywork and Painting

Car body structure fixed to frame alignment equipment

This is the process of returning the car body to its original form. If the frame is misaligned, we first align it using frame equipment. After attaching the exterior panels, we compare the paint code with the panel color to determine the mixing ratio and paint it in the booth. After drying and polishing, the finish is finalized.

Work sequence for this step

  • Paint code matching and mixing
  • Booth painting, drying, and polishing

Step 6

Glass and finishing work

If glass replacement is included, it is performed after the body work. For vehicle models with sensors or cameras at the top, recalibration is performed after replacement. Afterward, we finish with interior/exterior car washing and polishing. This is done just before delivery as it is the step to remove polishing powder and dust.

Glass and finishing work must be done after the body work is completed. This is because doing it beforehand would lead to re-contamination during the sheet metal and painting process.

Things to check during glass replacement

  • Presence of top sensors/cameras and necessity of recalibration

Step 7

Once the work is finished, we re-check panel gaps, paint surfaces, and glass condition. We will explain what parts were handled and how in Korean before delivering the car. If any issues arise after delivery, please contact us and we will check them for you. For insurance claims, we will also organize the relevant documents for you.

Checklist before delivery

  • Panel gaps and door operation
  • Paint surface color and gloss
  • Glass adhesion and sensor operation
  • Insurance claim documentation
