We are not a large franchise, but an independently operated workshop. This allows us to track who worked on each vehicle and the extent of the work performed. When an accident vehicle arrives, we inspect not only the exterior damage but also the undercarriage and panel gaps. Skipping this process can lead to issues like misaligned doors or tire pulling later on.
PRECISION AUTO BODY is an auto body and paint shop located on Burleson Rd in South Austin. We specialize in restoring accident-damaged cars to their original condition. We prioritize explaining the situation in Korean and walking you through the scope and reasons for the repairs. Because vehicle history is kept in one place even if the technician changes, we can use previous work as a reference for future repairs on the same area.
We do not provide estimates based solely on exterior damage. We determine the scope after checking the undercarriage and panel gaps.

We are equipped with a paint booth, color matching equipment, and frame alignment tools. The paint booth is dust-free, ensuring a clean finish. The color matching equipment is used to determine the mixing ratio by comparing the vehicle's paint code with the actual panel color. Frame equipment is necessary for restoring the vehicle's chassis reference points to manufacturer specifications after an accident.

Painting and drying take place inside the booth to prevent dust from settling. This is why we achieve a clean finish.
Color Matching
Comparing Paint Code with Actual Color
We determine the mixing ratio by placing the vehicle's paint code side-by-side with the actual color of the panel. We adjust for vehicles that have faded over time.
Frame Alignment

We restore the chassis reference points distorted by accidents to manufacturer specifications. Without this, doors won't align and tires will pull.

Electric vehicles like Tesla require special care around battery packs and high-voltage components. Please inform us of the model and damaged area in advance so we can prepare the repair sequence.

How We Determine Repair Scope
Estimates are not determined solely by visible damage. We remove the bumper to check the condition of the inner absorbers and brackets before setting the scope. Even if it looks like a minor fender bender, if the interior is pushed in, painting alone will not solve the problem. We explain this judgment process with photos and notify you in advance if additional work is required.
If the repair scope changes, we will explain the reason first. We ensure that no work is performed without you knowing what is being done and why.

InteriorWe remove the bumper to check if the absorbers and brackets have been pushed in. The scope often changes at this stage.

StructureWe check the gaps between doors and fenders, and any distortion in the undercarriage. If problems are found here, frame alignment is necessary.

About Parts Selection
For repairs, we use genuine, aftermarket, or used parts depending on the situation. For insurance claims, the type of parts may be determined by the insurance company's standards. If you are paying out-of-pocket, we will explain the differences in cost and quality so you can make an informed choice. We ensure that no work is performed without you knowing which parts are being used.

Repair duration depends on the damaged area and parts availability. If parts are delayed, we will notify you immediately. Once the work is finished, we will provide a summary in Korean explaining what was done and how. You can reach us via phone, text, or email—whichever is most convenient for you.
